About your veterinarian

Dr. Jessica DiGenova, DVM

Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. DiGenova has been surrounded by animals for as long as she can remember. Inspired by her mother, also a veterinarian, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Guelph and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2016, later completing an internal medicine internship in Los Angeles.

Across general practice, urgent care, and emergency medicine, she came to understand the human-animal bond and the importance of compassionate care at every stage of a pet's life. While euthanasia is never easy, she believes it can be a profound act of love: peace and relief from suffering. She is honored to help families say goodbye in the comfort and familiarity of home.

Dr. DiGenova spent her childhood visiting her mother's veterinary clinic and dreaming of following in her footsteps. That early inspiration shaped a career devoted to the human-animal bond and to compassionate care through every stage of a pet's life.

Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, hiking, and staying active. In early 2025, they welcomed their first child. Through her work, Dr. DiGenova is dedicated to offering dignified end-of-life care for pets and meaningful support for the families who love them.

★★★★★

Dr. DiGenova was so kind, respectful, and gentle with our boy. My parents were reluctant to put him to sleep, but seeing how careful and peaceful it was, they truly believed they'd made the right decision. After the cremation, she brought him back home to us. I can't thank her enough.

Our sweet girl was diagnosed with an incurable kidney condition. I called so many in-home services until I found Dr. Jessica, who came the same day. She made it peaceful for my Lexa, gave us time to say goodbye, and was calm and kind with my whole family through the hardest day.

Our cat reached the senior age of 18, and it meant a lot to say goodbye from the comfort of his home rather than a stressful vet visit. Dr. Jessica was exactly what we needed: prompt, respectful, professional, and gentle. We thank her so much.
